Today, March 01, 2024, I had the honor of being invited to share my insights at a United Nations conference with stakeholders on the Global Digital Compact. I extend my gratitude to the organizers and co-facilitators of this event for their impeccable coordination and for providing me with the opportunity to contribute to such a meaningful dialogue. Your dedication to shaping a thoughtful and inclusive digital future is truly commendable.
In my address, I:
🟣 Accentuated the critical importance of integrating a Preamble within the AI Constitution by Polina Prianykova, underscoring its foundational role in establishing the norms and principles of the GDC.
🟣 Announced the submission of a thoughtfully composed AI Constitution Preamble to the esteemed collegial body in January 2024, with the aim of fostering synergy between Humanity and AI, guided by the tenets of democracy, social justice, and the rule of law.
🟣 Advocated for the incorporation of an AI Glossary in the GDC, to facilitate a universally consistent understanding of AI-related terminologies, thereby enhancing global comprehension and cooperation.
🟣 Proposed the introduction of a unified Anthem, Flag, and Emblem for AI within the Definitions section, symbolizing our collective commitment and progress towards an AI-integrated future.
🟣 Unveiled the creation of an Anthem for Artificial Intelligence, inspired by the principles articulated in the AI Constitution Preamble, aiming to kindle a sense of unity and shared destiny in our collective voyage with AI.
🟣 Emphasized the necessity for astute and forward-thinking regulation of AI, to ensure its development and application proceed in a manner that safeguards humanity's welfare and promotes a mutually beneficial co-evolution.
